Speaker Series is your chance to hear directly from the people who inspire you.

We bring in artists, designers, founders, and creative leaders who’ve navigated the paths you’re curious about. Every session closes with a small-group roundtable session where you get to ask the questions you’d never raise in a crowded room.

NYC Immersion is your chance to step inside the spaces you've dreamed about being in.

We take you into the studios and spaces behind the work that inspires you. Learn directly from the leaders who built them, and see firsthand what goes into the craft.

Last year, we visited Pentagram and Bloomingdale's, where we had the opportunity to learn about the structure and creative processes of these renowned design houses. Students also gained valuable insight into early career opportunities available to them.

Founder's Sandbox is our annual signature event, bringing panels and conversations together to build community and opportunity.

Co-hosted with the Office of Alumni + Family Relations, the Career Center, and Institutional Advancement, Founder's Sandbox brings together alumni, industry professionals, and the RISD community for a full day of learning, dialogue, and networking. Multiple panels and conversations run throughout the day, with makeathons and showcases as chances for students to actively participate.

Founder's Chat is an easy way to connect with like-minded people at RISD.

Founder's Chat connects you with fellow RISD students working on their own initiatives, curious about entrepreneurship, or simply looking to build conversations on campus.
